CASTLE Welcomes N. John DiNardo as new Professor in Residence

N. John DiNardo, Professor of Physics and Special Advisor to the Provost will be joining CASTLE as a Professor in Residence for a one-year sabbatical. During his time with CASTLE, Dr. DiNardo will contribute to the DARE ExCEL research project and a research study which tracks experiential learning outcomes across three CAA campuses, including Drexel University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, and the University of Charleston. Dr. DiNardo is also excited to return to his teaching roots through leadership participation in the Drexel CIRTL and PROFESS programs. In addition, Dr. DiNardo will continue his role on the Drexel executive committee for the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership program.
Prior to joining CASTLE, Dr. DiNardo has served in several roles at Drexel including Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Interim Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. DiNardo received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Drexel University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania. After a Postdoctoral Fellowship at IBM Research he joined Drexel’s Department of Physics in 1984.
